Ronn Torossian tells the difference between customers and fans

Most of the businesses are least bothered about the fact whether they have more customers or more fans as long as they are getting good monetary benefits. But in the public relations, this approach can be disastrous.
Ronn Torossian, the founder and CEO of 5W public relations explains the major difference between fans and customers. Take a look:

Customers are only those people who just tend to buy your product for any reason. The reason may be lack of other product or any other one. They may be using your service or product but they are not necessarily completely dedicated to only your product. Even those who stumble down to your product bypassing other ones are not your fans.

Fans are those people who just do not care to have a look at any other available product or service in the market, but yours. They rely only on your services and are willing to spread positive message about it with other people.
